Our Prgram

Older students helping young riders during lessons and camp develop leadership skills and mentorship.

Who are our students?

We teach children ages 3 and up through adults of all ages. Our students love horses and love learning all about them! Some have never ridden a horse before, others are coming back to riding after being away from it for a time, and others are developing into wonderful horsemen/women who want to be better riders because it is what’s best for their partnership with their horse!

Our Curriculum

We use a curriculum to ensure riders learn the skills to be safe and effective in the saddle. Our youngest riders start as Rainbow Riders and gain both mounted and unmounted skills. While our older or more experienced riders can shift from the Learning Levels curriculum to the Global Equestrian curriculum to further their riding and horsemanship skills. These skills prepare our students for horse ownership, being able to care for their own horse, and take their riding to any level they desire.

We support our riders to meet their goals!

Goals

Everyone has goals and dreams they strive towards. We revisit goals quarterly and also track progress for each individual rider on our Trello board. We cater your learning to your individual goals and needs. We regularly bring in outside clinicians to teach us deeper natural horsemanship skills because the partnership with our horses comes first. This also helps riders develop feel so they can communicate more effectively with their horses. We encourage our riders to to be committed and consistent so they can progress more quickly and gain confidence and strength in the saddle. We also offer Lease opportunities to individuals who have passed their yellow level.
